The Jogini Waterfall Trek is a beautiful, scenic trail that winds through apple orchards, tall pine forests, and small mountain streams. Starting from the historic Vashisht Village, the 3-kilometer hike leads to the foot of a spectacular, 160-foot-tall waterfall cascading down a cliff. The pool at the bottom is sacred to local villagers, who worship the goddess Jogini. The mist from the waterfall, the sound of rushing water, and the panoramic views of the Beas River and snow peaks make it a highly refreshing experience.
Responsible Travel & Etiquette
Wear shoes with good grip as the trail near the waterfall can get muddy and slippery
Do not bathe or swim in the pool directly below the waterfall, as it is considered sacred and can be dangerous
Avoid throwing trash along the forest trail; carry it back with you
Respect local shrines and small temples built along the route
