Pangong Tso is an iconic, endorheic alpine lake that stretches from India into Tibet, famous for its dramatic color changes from turquoise and azure to deep blue. Situated at 14,270 feet, this saline water lake is 134 km long, with only one-third of it lying in India. Famous from the climax of the movie '3 Idiots,' the lake is surrounded by barren, golden mountains, presenting a surreal landscape. The crystal-clear water, the cool lake breeze, and the brilliant stargazing opportunities at night make it a highlight of Ladakh.
